Broken Springs

The function of a garage door spring is to counteract the force of gravity on the door. In essence, this means a garage door spring is supposed to make your door light enough for you to be able to lift it on your own, or for the power of the garage door opener to lift it up easily.

Garage Door Cables

These cables are found on both sides of the door and are used to help lift and lower the door with ease. Without proper maintenance they can bind and even snap, causing a hanging door.

Rollers

Garage door rollers are key in assisting a smooth rise and fall of your garage door. Without proper maintenance rollers can dry out and gunk up causing a drag. This puts more effort on your opener to lift the door and can cause major damage to other door components.

A tune up for your garage door is recommend to be done at least once a year, for higher traffic garages we recommend about every 6 months.
